This review sees us wishing we were lolling in the late summer sunshine G&T in hand. Two Birds do not lie when they say they are the spirit of the english countryside.
Two Birds really is a well-rounded drink. Starting with a clean vibrant nose, citrus, fruity almost cherry or plum like. The lead is smooth and creamy, juniper is present but balanced with citrus and we thought elderflower notes. Good bitter notes in the linger, a strong London Dry finish.
This is an eminently drinkable gin, creamy, full and dry. It works great in a G&T with a rhubarb and juniper garnish, and we find it also works well in a Gin Smash. On the menu since August and proving very popular with customers, Two Birds in the glass is definitely a worthwhile gin choice.
